A building envelope is primarily comprised of windows and doors, a roof, the floor and exterior walls. As temperatures outside the house go from hot to cold throughout the season our home building envelope works to keep the temperature inside at our individual comfort levels. The design and quality of the windows, doors, insulation, roof and airtight of our walls are directly related to how hard and how costly it is to air conditioning and heat our homes.
